History of Our Company

In the early '90's we all used simple operating systems and in most cases, stand-alone PC's. Networking was done with the use of old fashioned Coax ("Thinnet") style wiring and performance was very slow. After many years in the automotive industry, Paul Brustas became fascinated with computers and learning how to make them perform better. Networking was learned because first-person 'shoot-em-up' games such as DOOM® and Wolfenstien®, among others were more fun when you could "shoot" your friends!

Paul quickly became known in the San Diego community for having LAN Parties, where others would bring over their computers for a weekend and network them together for the sake of these games. As you can imagine, the individual speed and performance of these computers was just as much of a factor in winning, as the Network itself.

... Serving America's Finest City for over Ten Years now! ...

It wasn't long before computer repair, optimization, and Networking became a way of life. In 1995, Microsoft® introduced a whole new breed of Operating System, Windows 95© and the whole market changed. Suddenly everyone was wanting to get on the Internet and needed their computers to do so.

Paul wrote a book that Summer called "Using Windows the Easy Way!"© which was distributed locally, and widely via the Internet.

As an enterprising Entrepeneur, Paul still worked night and day under the name of Brustas Consulting Services. Years were spent trouble-shooting, repairing, and upgrading PC's wherever he was needed. Further operating systems came out of course, and Paul mastered them and released his book again, helping many new people learn to use their computers.

That was a long time ago. Brustas Consulting Services has grown into San Diego PC, a CityWide operation that (still) does upgrades, diagnosis, and repair on computers on-site. There are many others now that do computer services on-site, but remember us as one of the first. There is a lot to be said for getting a computer repaired by one who has well over a dozen years experience. Why would you want to entrust your data to somebody who has less?
